Significan Fuel Savings with the Turbo Compound Engine!

The DE13 TC option is a redesigned engine which uses less fuel and expells less CO2 into the air which can allow significant fuel savings – a huge bonus for hauliers who cover hundreds of miles a day – and the manoeuvrability or speed isn’t affected either! Extra torque is generated due to an additional turbine in the engine converting residual energy contained in exhaust gasses into mechanical energy which is transmitted into the crankshaft to form the torque energy.
