Who are RH Commercial Vehicles?

Formed in 1977, we have over 40 years of experience in the commercial vehicle market. Since 1986, we have been the Renault Trucks dealer for The East Midlands. In 2020, we started working with Isuzu and in 2022 have become a dealer for Brian James Trailers, providing a great choice of brands for our customers.

We have sites in Nottingham, Leicestershire, Alfreton, Peterborough, Northampton and Newark where we offer a full range of sales and services including a dedicated paint shop and designated MOT bay.

Standing out as the best apprenticeship for you

When it comes to commercial vehicles, we know our stuff. But we really want to show you how we stand out as a brilliant company for you to kickstart your career and learn a great trade.

We are willing to invest in your career. The more you learn with us, the more you will be paid. That’s why your salary will increase for every stage you complete with us during your apprenticeship.

No two days are the same – we know everyone says that but it’s true! There’s so much for you to learn that you won’t feel like you’re stuck in the same role every day.

A brilliant career path awaits you after your apprenticeship. Some of our past apprentices have gone onto high-end management roles! With hard work and support, you could achieve this!

We recognise the value of each and every individual in our teams. We appreciate everything they bring to their job and will celebrate their successes and developments. After all, its our colleagues that allow our business to grow.

What roles are available?

RH Commercial Vehicles are organised into different departments: sales, aftersales and service, and RH Rentals. We all work as one to provide a one-stop-shop for anyone who may need a truck or van added to their fleet, serviced, or repaired.

The current apprenticeship opportunities we offer are:

  • Parts Advisor
  • Customer Service Reception

But it doesn’t just stop there, there are so many directions these apprenticeships can take you here at RHCV.

What happens when you finish your apprenticeship…?

As an apprentice you will be a full-time employee from the very beginning, and while you are learning, you’ll be earning your place as an integral part of the team.

Once you have finished your qualification, you will meet further opportunities to progress to brilliant management roles such as HGV Workshop controller, parts supervisor, dealer point manager, Group Parts Manager, and even Group Aftermarket General Manager.

Most of our managers were all apprentices at one point – exactly like you. All it took was hard work and determination.
