Isuzu Truck UK has revealed its highly anticipated new P700 range, marking the most significant update to the manufacturer’s UK truck line-up in three decades. Designed to deliver enhanced safety, comfort and efficiency, the new generation range introduces a host of technological upgrades and new model variants, providing operators with more choice than ever before.
The P700 range has been engineered to meet the evolving needs of modern transport operators while maintaining the reliability and practicality for which Isuzu is renowned. Across the range, customers will benefit from an upgraded specification as standard, including LED lighting, air conditioning, satellite navigation and an advanced infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. These enhancements aim to improve both driver comfort and day-to-day usability.
According to Isuzu Truck UK Managing Director Pete Murphy, the new range represents a major step forward for the brand.

Expanded Model Choice
A key highlight of the new line-up is the introduction of a 6.5 tonne crew cab model, adding further flexibility for operators in sectors such as recovery, utilities and local authority services. This joins the existing 7.5 tonne crew cab offering and broadens the appeal of the range to businesses requiring additional passenger capacity.
The 7.5 tonne range also benefits from a new 175PS 3.0 litre turbo diesel engine option. Positioned between the existing 150PS 3.0 litre and 190PS 5.2 litre engines, the new powertrain provides operators with an additional choice that balances performance and efficiency.
For heavy-duty applications, Isuzu has expanded its F-series offering with a longer wheelbase 13.5 tonne variant, providing customers with greater body-building flexibility and a wider range of operational possibilities.
Advanced Technology
The new P700 range introduces Isuzu’s innovative ISIM (Isuzu Smooth Intelligent Transmission) dual-clutch nine-speed gearbox. Available across the N-series range from 3.5 to 7.5 tonnes, the transmission has been designed to provide smoother gear changes, improved driving comfort and enhanced performance.
By pairing the new gearbox with the 175PS engine, operators can access additional power for demanding applications without the weight penalty associated with larger displacement engines.
Safety at the Forefront
Safety has been a keu focus during the development of the new generation range. Applicable models will feature a suite of advanced driver assistance systems, including:
- Blind Spot Information System
- Distance Warning System
- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring
These technologies are designed to help improve driver awareness, reduce risks on the road and support fleet operators in maintaining the highest safety standards.
Arriving in the UK
Production of the right-hand drive P700 models for the UK market is scheduled to begin in August, with the first chassis to arrive from October.
