The independently, privately owned haulage company, Freelance UK always makes sure they keep up with new standards in the vehicle industry. They specialise in transporting access and plant machinery and more, the Nottinghamshire-based company approached RH Commercial Vehicles for assistance in updating their fleet.
Holly Porter, the Director, commented. “With the types of machinery and stock we transport, it is important that our vehicles are kept in good condition.
“We have got a good working relationship with RHCV. In fact. the majority of our fleet is made up of Renault Trucks, so we knew we’d get a good vehicle.”
On this occasion, Freelance UK purchased two Renault T520 6x2s (T-Highs).
Holly said, “They’re very smart-looking and impressive vehicles, our drivers love them, so it was an easy decision to go with RHCV.”
The T-Highs received their striking yellow colour from RHCV’s modern paint shop. They were also fitted with cameras, light bars, perimeter kits, mirror guards and lockers to make sure they stand out on the road.
Internally, the cabs have been a hit with the drivers. Holly said, “Our drivers will spend the occasional night in the trucks, so we want them to be comfortable. It really makes a difference when they can stand up thanks to the flat floor and high ceilings.”
Holly, also found the aftermarket very helpful. “It’s another deciding factor to go with RHCV.” She said, “If there are any issues, the workshop is tenacious in ensuring it is resolved.
“Overall, the service from RHCV has been very good, we will definitely be using them again in the future.”
