This truck features a DTI 13l Turbo Compound engine which can save up to 10% on fuel and reduces up to 10% CO2 emissions through new, ground breaking technology. This tech features patented wave pistons for improved combustion. By directing the flames inside the combustion bowl, the available oxygen is utilised better.
Residual energy in the exhaust gasses can be converted into mechanical energy. This is transmitted into the crankshaft as additional engine torque – meaning higher torque levels at lower speeds.
Turbo Compound technology also assists cruise control. Fuel consumption is optimised by certain driving procedures such as acceleration, gear change, speed regulation and deceleration have been adjusted. This means the driver can enjoy the benefits of cruise control whilst reducing fuel consumption.
The T High’s design considers comfort and well-being as a priority, therefore includes specific features to enhance the comfort and mental health of the driver and further assists with driver retention.
As standard, the Renault Trucks T High range includes a flat floor, making it easier to move around, storage compartments by the roof and under the bunk, extra-large drawers, heaters, and comfy mattresses in the bunk areas.
As an optional extra, this T-High has been fitted with a 40L fridge, luxury driver’s seat, memory foam mattress topper, HGV-specific TOM TOM navigation system, FM and DAB radio and a USB port.
