Check and sign off R2C inspection documents

Manage workshop work-in-progress and provide timely updates on progress to service reception or directly to the customer

Manage job issues / problems in real time to control the quality of the repair and minimise rectification and customer downtime

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s procedures

Work to the highest standards surpassing manufacturer’s and VOSA standards

Fast and accurate fault diagnosis using the latest diagnostic equipment

Follow company processes by completing all relevant paperwork

Complete thorough safety checks and preparing vehicles for MOTs

Ensure product knowledge and skills are maintained to company requirements

Attend training courses that are identified and when required

Carry out quality control checks on technician repairs

Ensure housekeeping is kept at the company standard and everyone in workshop is working to H&S standards set out in our statement and risk assessments

Ensure all jobs are recorded properly, appropriately, and accurately recording times, ensuring all job cards and service sheets are actioned in the agreed timescales

Our HGV Technicians are responsible for maintaining commercial vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards. Being able to effectively process information, diagnose issues, and thrive in a physically and mentally echilerating environment is where you come in!
